- Rodrick Usher,a friend from the narrators child hood, sent a letter requwsting the narrator to make the journey to the house of usher becasue he was ill.
- Lady Madeline is seen looking ghostly and dead becuse she suffers from catalepsy.
- Lady Madeline is presumed dead, Rodrick Usher did not want an altopsy done ,so he put her in the house.
- After the entombment of his siter Rodrick Usher's mental state gets worse.
- Lady Madeline comes from her entombment and scares Rodrick Usher to death .
- The narartor quickly leaves durning the storm and the house of usher calapses.
