- Okay. Let meteach you a few laws of exponents.The firstlaw- (a^m)^n = a^m*n , i.e., (10^4)^5=10^4*5= 1020.The secondlaw- am * an = am+n , i.e.,10^5 * 10^5 = 10^5+5 = 10^10.The thirdlaw- am / an = am-n , i.e., 10^11 /10^6 = 10^5.
