- The sentry brought Antigone to Creon happily.
- We caught the person who buried Polynices!

- Creon
- Creon was very unbelievable and asked Antigone if she really did the crime.
- Really?
- Did you admit that you have done the crime?
- Of course, I did it.
- Antigone
- Sentry
- Creon
- Creon let the sentry leave and turned back to Antigone.
- I got it, just leave her here and you can go now.
- ......
- Sentry
- Antigone
- Sentry: "She‘s the one, she did it single-handed / we caught her burying the body. Where's Creon?" (lines 425-426).
- Creon blamed Antigone and asked if she realized she was breaking the laws and offering burial for a traitor.
- Do you have any ideas about what you are doing?!
- Creon: "You, / with your eyes fixed on the ground—speak up. /Do you deny you did this, yes or no? / I did it. I don't deny a thing" (lines 489-492).
- Creon determined to let Antigone feel regret of what she had done, including her sister Ismene.
- Believe me, you will soon regret what you have done!
- Creon: "You, get out, wherever you please— / you're clear of a very heavy charge" (lines 493-494).
- Creon executed the Antigone sisters which warned people what would happen if they disobeyed the law of the land and the will of the king.
- You! You and your sister will all receive my serious punishment!
- Antigone: "These laws—I was not about to break them,not out of fear of some man's wounded pride, and face the retribution of the gods"(lines 509-511).
- Creon
- I follow the essence of nature and the will of gods.
- Antigone
- Leader: "Like father like daughter,passionate, wild . . .she hasn't learned to bend before adversity"(lines525-527).
- Creon
- I'm sure the people would applaud what I've done if they weren't afraid of you.
- Antigone
- Creon
- Creon: "Yes, I accuse her sister of an equal part in scheming this, this burial"(lines 547-548).
- So what are you waiting for? Give me a quick execution, Creon!
