- During the Battle for Britain, Germans started for the coastline and worked inward, making it hard to run away. They also attacked british shipping areas, and shipped crates. Once the attacks moved inland they concentrated on communication sites and airfields.
- During the battle against the Japanese for Pearl Harbor, exactly 177 naval aircrafts attacked from the skies. Within 2 hours 21 US Warships were destroyed or sunk. 2,403 american servicewomen and men were killed along with 188 american aircraft destroyed.
- During the battle for Midway, the US used their immense navy (that they salvaged) to travel there. They also obliterated Japan's navy a few months after Pearl Harbor was attacked. Due to this the US launched a surprise attack on Japan, rendering them unable to fight for a while.
