- The Magi followed the star because they believed in God's promises. They followed it because of the good news they had been told.
- The Magi following the star reveals how God worked through the Magi. The maji are examples of people who trusted in God's promises and that he would fulfill them
- The Magi said We saw his star when it rose and have to come worship Him. They wanted to share Jesus's birth with others once they had given their gifts to Baby Jesus.
- The Magi had been waiting on a sign that Jesus was coming and once they saw the star they were overjoyed and then eagerly travelled to meet him
- The Magi connect to Jesus's purpose because they strive to go meet him once he is born, and then they continue to share the good news about his birth.
- The Magi brought gifts to Jesus. They realized that they arrived once the star stopped overtop of the manger with baby Jesus. This shows that they trusted what God had said.
- They found Jesus and honored him with their gifts once they had reached Bethleham. They fully trusted in Jesus's plan by following what they were told and being faithful servants.
