  • Hey Sam, have you heard about the "waiting package" phishing scam? They sent me a text and said that I had a package waiting and they couldn't deliver it. I had to click a link to update.
  • Thankfully, Sam, I had learned about these phishing scams in my software class at school and knew some signs to look for:1. The text had a generic greeting instead of calling me by my name2. They included a link that requested I click on it to update my payment details3. They said my package had attempted to be delievered, but is placed on hold until I update my information
