- Muhammad's Call to Prophethood:
- Muhammad (S) was a trader or merchant in Makkah while following in his uncle, Abu Talib's, footsteps.
- Muhammad's Teachings meets Rejection:
- You're right! I will never either!
- Khadijah, a widow, proposed to Muhammad (S) when he was 25 and he accepted so, they married each other and had 6 children.
- Muhammad's Hijrah and death:
- Muhammad (S) was called to prophethood while praying in Cave Hira by Angel Gabriel coming to him and telling him to read in the name of Allah (SWT).
- Recite--in the name of thy lordWho created man from blood coagulatedRecite! Thy lord is wondrous kindWho by pen has taught mankindThings they knew not
- Muhammad (S) started preaching Islam at around 613 C.E. and he gained a few followers like his uncle Abu Talib and his wife Khadijah but, some people didn't want to give up their religion so they rejected his teaching and his and all of his followers lives were in danger.
- I will never become Muslim!
- In 622, Muhammad (S) and his followers left to Makkah on pilgrimage called Hijrah and after the pilgrimage Muhammad (S) died in his wife, Aisha's arms at the age of 61
