  • Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address shows a change in how freedom is fought for because up until this point, most of the fights have been legal and through government, but this time it showed the Civil War, a massive violent conflict, was the most recent way that they struggled for freedom. It showed that the struggle in this time cost lives for freedom. It also showed the change that since the Emancipation Proclamation, slaves were free, but the struggle and war for freedom were still going on.
  • Let's stop the war and rebuild!
  • The text Brown v. Board of Education shows how, since the civil war, the struggle for freedom has shifted from war to the legal system. It also shows that, since the court talked about Plessy v. Fergson, there are setbacks and then progressions with the struggle. Those setbacks change over time from the civil war, to then the court cases stating Separate but Equal. And the progressions change from the Emancipation Proclamation to the decision on Brown v. Board of Education.
  • Separate but Equal doesn't work in education!
  • The Social Dilemma shows the biggest change in how freedom is fought from any of the other texts, mainly because it takes place many years after any of them. The Social Dilemma shows the struggle for freedom from major tech companies and their manipulation, a major change from freedom from slavery and equal rights. This struggle also takes place online, as well as in person, another major change from other ways freedom was fought for. This time, people aren't struggling with the government as much as powerful private companies, yet another change from the freedom struggle before.
  • STOP MANIPULATING US!
  • Haha, no.
