- I apologize if I'm out of line officer, but I don't think that's quite right.
- Both things you mentioned are rights that I have. They're rights that are both protected by the first amendment.
- Hmm...
- (1) First of all, I am allowed to speak on whatever I please as I have freedom of speech.. according to the first amendment.
- (3) I can assure you, officer, that everyone here came voluntarily. They all know what they came here for. We all believe in gun control.
- (2) Well, you never know who could be listening. You wouldn't want to corrupt the minds of anyone else.
- (4) That still does not explain why you've gathered people here, surely it could have been done some other way.
- Well, according to the First Amendment, once again may I add, I have the right to freedom of assembly. Which would mean I am allowed to gather these people here to protest for our cause, especially since this is a public area. There are no signs that restrict any of us from gathering here.
- Oh, OK then. Just make sure you kiddos stay safe.
