- Setting: A bustling airport terminal. Sarah, a businesswoman with a suitcase, stands at a crowded gate, trying to communicate with the airline staff at the counter. There's a lot of background noise and commotion.
- Sarah: (shouting) "My flight was rescheduled! I need to know when the next one is!"
- Overcoming Noise barrier: Sarah tries to write down her question on a piece of paper to show the airline staff. However, the bright airport lights overhead make it hard to read the text on the paper.
- Airline Staff 1: (struggling to hear) "What? Speak up!"
- Setting: Sarah tries to write down her question on a piece of paper to show the airline staff. - Sarah: (holding the paper) "My flight... next?"

- Airline Staff 2: (struggling to read) "Hmm... flight... soon?"
- Sarah (text message): "Flight rescheduled. When's the next one?"

- Overcoming Distance barrier: Sarah approaches the airline staff at Gate 5. However, the emotional barrier is still evident as they both appear stressed and agitated.
- Airline Staff 1 (text message): "Next flight: 4:30 PM. Gate 5."
