- On June 12, 1942 Anne Frank had recieved a diary as a birthday gift, where she recorded her daily thoughts in. This would soon become one of the most famous stories of the Holocaust.
- One day Otto Frank came home and told the family to layer their clothes, and pack a little bag because they would be moving into hiding to avoid being captured. They moved into a secret annex along with Mr and Mrs. Van Daan and their son, and later on Mr.Dussell
- Inside of the Secret Annex it became very small, and during the day they all had to be very quiet. They were all scared that they would get caught. After a while they began to get to know each other, but their food supply began to get very low
- The police had shown up where the Franks where hiding, because they'd recieved tips of fraudulent food ration cards and illegal employment happening there. The Franks knew it was the police, so they became very quiet
- The Franks thought the police had left, so they started to talk, but they were still investigating. The police had searched around the place trying to find the voices, and found out where they were hiding.
- They took them all to concentration camps, and only allowed them to take one thing with them. Everyone that went into hiding died, except for Otto Frank.
