The Great Gatsby Myrtle Death

- Myrtle is in the room that George locked her up in. She stares out the window and sees the yellow car Tom drove earlier coming her way.
- She breaks out and begins running toward the middle of the street to catch the car before it passes.
- She attempts to wave down the yellow car, but unfortunately for her, Gatsby and Daisy were driving and did not know who Myrtle was.
- There wasn't enough time for Daisy to react as she tried to swerve out of the way, but unfortunately hit Myrtle in the end.
- Myrtle is killed almost instantly as the car drives off and she is left on the road, mangled up.
- People gather around her trying to help, realizing it's too late to save her now.
