- Radiation Oncologist asking the patient for unique identifiers to search up the patient in the system.

- Radiation Oncologist searches the patient name and an extensive list of "Greg Smith" Show up on the system. It is time consuming to go through all the "Greg Smith" on the list and could be frustrating for the patient to wait long.
- Oh wow! Only 1 "Greg Smith" with the matching date of birth and medicare number! Great, saved my time.

- Radiation Oncologist asking the patient for unique identifiers that can easily distinguish from all the patient record. Requiring two identifier to make sure the correct patient as either should be unique.
- Filling up the required identifiers to find the correct patient. Patient ID is for existing patients, quickest way to find the patient.
- Searching using the identifiers, it resulted in only 1 patient enter thus meaning an effective filtered search and providing the correct patient.
