- The British and Cherokee made a deal where the Cherokee couldn't trade with the French. This made them think they were equal.
- Hey! Stop that!
- Even though the Cherokee thought they were equal, the British thought they owned them now.
- After years of being civil, that peace was finally broken after the French and Indian war. The Indians expected protection from the French, but they didn't get what they wanted.
- I'm so glad we're good now!
- After feeling betrayed, a Cherokee tribe decided to take some of the settler's horses. The settlers didn't like that and fought back.
- The Royal Governor tried to stop the tribe by stopping their trade and capturing their peace representatives. All of this led to war.
- After two years, there was a treaty and it took the Cherokee's land, but split their land into a Cherokee territory and South Carolina into a royal colony.
