Texte du Storyboard

  • Hey Jenna! What have you been learning about lately?
  • I’ve been learning about the relationship between science and religion!
  • interesting!
  • First I’ll explain some of the things that are unique to science! This includes rationality, and asking questions such as what and how. Rather than interpreting, science describes the universe. A science based question would be something like “how does a computer work?”
  • Now onto things unique about religion! Religion is super rational, even more thank science, and is the blueprint that science can build on. Religion makes us ask questions like who and why, and interprets the universe. An example of a thought which religion would make us think of, would be the experience of hearing our favorite song on the radio.
  • so what is similar in both religion and science?
  • science and religion both rest on faith. faith is integral to the scientific method, and the same goes for religion!
  • Both science and religion seek to explain and make sense of reality. They also both try to find the best way of looking at things, we can think of them as lenses that we see through and together, they help us make sense of who we are, why we’re here and what we ought to do.
  • Thank you so much for sharing Jenna! I learnt so much.
  • It is important that we use both science and faith because as Albert Einstein said “science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” This shows us how we need to use both to help us better ourselves and make sense of the world.
  • Interesting!!
