I just invented a new way to strand and weave wire cables
John Roebling found a new way to strand and weave wire cables. When he did this he earned a reputation as a designer of suspension bridges, which at the time were widely used, but known to fail
I just built this bridge with my new cable wires. Hopefully I can make even more bridges.
Roebling with his new cable wires built many bridges such as Niagara Gorge at Niagara Falls, New York, and Ohio river in Cincinnati, Ohio
I now approve your plan to build a suspension bridge From Manhattan to Brooklyn
yessssssss!!
On 1867 Roebling was approved to make the Brooklyn bridge, furthermore, on History.com it states that, "In 1867, on the basis of his accomplishments, New York legislators approved Roebling's plan for a suspension bridge over the east river between Manhattan and Brooklyn
he just started building this bridge.
Did we just hit John Roebling!?!
John Roebling was hit by a boat that crushed his one foot. He did not die from impact, but died about three weeks after the contact.
I'm in charge now. I'm so happy.
John Roebling's son took over the operation on the Brooklyn bride, furthermore, on Britannica.com it states, "His 32-year old son, Washington A. Roebling took over as chief engineer. Washington had worked with his father on other bridges, and helped design the Brooklyn bridge, and was the one who actually lead the building of the Brooklyn bridge.
In 1883 the Brooklyn bridge was finally completed under Washington A. Roebling.
thank you everybody for helping. The Brooklyn bridge is finally done.
