- Oh great, he is using vague pronouns too. Pretty soon even the burglars and the birds on the wire will be using pronoun shifts and vague pronouns. AFTER HIM!!!
- Get him!!! He and his accomplices have been brainwashing this whole town!
- It wasn't me! Kyle and Joe are the ringleaders of this gang and he did it!
- Well I used to never make grammatical errors, but my brain is so overwhelmed, you just can't figure out the right way!
- Oh, ho, ho. HELP!!! I'm drowning, There were two men, Kyle and Joe, and he did it.
- Never fear, the Grammar Police is here. Never mind the drowning bit, lets fix the grammar. I shall fix the spell that's been cast over Pronoun Town.
- Thank you for solving this case. How did you do it?
- I would say that this case is officially closed!
- I just remembered the rules for pronoun shifts and vague pronouns. Always check to make sure the pronoun and the antecedent match in number and person. I also looked to make sure the pronoun only referred back to one antecedent. And kids, always read your sentence out loud to make sure it sounds right. That will catch not all, but a lot of errors.
