- Don't believe everything you see online JB, they are nice people!
- Sure, sweetie!
- I'm telling you, they eat brains! They're Aliens! I saw a video and they are called "Visitors"
- They are not people, Cynthia!
- Since he's my friend, can I bring some leftovers to Max?
- I, uh, I have to go. My mom needs me home
- Mom: "Get home NOW!!!"
- Thanks for the food, is everything okay, Sarai?
- "ALIEN MONSTER ATTACK!!!"
- You're not gong to see that boy anymore!
- Cynthia, they are not humans, but this doesn't mean they're more dangerous than we are!
- Max: "Do you think I'm a monster?"
- A few minutes later...
- What happened? What was that?
- It's a blackout!
- The story starts in the kitchen, where there is the whole family speaking about the new strange people in the district, who are considered aliens by everyone. JB is telling them that they're called "Visitors", but Sarai doesn't believe him because Max, which is the weird new boy, is her friend. Because of that, she wants to bring him some food left during dinner.
- I saw the video, I know what you must be thinking of me, but I want to be a good host, and I came outside to say that I mean no harm.
- Thousand years ago, we used the volcanoes for energy, but we railed them too much and then they grew dormant. After that, everything froze and just a few of us could survive and come here, on the Earth.
- We gotta go up that house right now and get some answers from them!
- When Sarai arrives, Max is waiting for her. She brings him the food and they share it. Since he comes from a hot planet, Max doesn't want to eat inside because Sarai would be too warm and that's why he always wears a hat and gloves. Suddenly, JB sends her a video with an alien, who is defending himself by the violence of the people. When her mom sees it, she wants absolutely her daughter home.
- Absolutely not!
- Fine, but just until his parents get back!
- Thank you Max, I would love to go inside your home!
- We should go, Cynthia!
- I'm sick of listening to you because of a stupid video! Max is my friend and he is behaving a lot more human than all you are!
- When Sarai arrives, her parents were in the entryway and her mom, Cynthia, forbids her to see Max again, because the video is viral and everyone is scared. Fortunately her dad, Brian, defends Max telling he's not a bad person just because he's different. A few minutes later, everything is dark in the house, even in the city. That's a balckout.
- Yes, for the first time, this place feels like home
- Are you okay?
- Everyone is so angry and scared by the new strange family that Edgar Burke, the worst in this story, and a lot of people, want to enter in Max's house to be cruel with him. At this point, Max comes out and starts revealing himself and telling the truth in front of everybody. On his planet, there was no energy left and just a few of them could survive.
- Sarai remembers all the times she was refused by people just because she's black and everything her family has been through for the racism. So, she starts defending Max and her dad agrees, convincing the mother too. When all the family comes into Max's house, Edgar and the crowd set a fire into the street, and everything is burning down.
- For this reason, Max, Sarai and the hole family had to run and escape from the fire in the city, started by the crowd, and go where there is the cell phone tower to save themselves. On the top of the hill, Sarai asks how Max is feeling now and for the first time, Earth feels like home for him.
