- We will not choose, this will make problems.
- Ancient Greece was just starting, and all the towns hope to have a god protecting them but, not all had one. Poseidon, the god of the sea, was one of the gods that protected towns, in specific coastal towns. People built temples on Poseidon's honor and also gave him gifts, which make him happy.
- Climax
- Jajajaja ok, good luck because you need it
- We should each give a gift to the village, the people will decide which gift is the best.
- Poseidon was always in search of new coastal towns, like other gods or goddesses like Athena. Athena is the goddess of wisdom.One day Poseidon and Athena founded a new coastal village, the same day.
- Falling Action
- I can' t believe we have water!
- Me neither!
- They both, Poseidon and Athena, took the village as their own. The people of the village got surprised by founding out their village had two gods. Poseidon got the idea of making people choose which god they preferred but, the people didn't want to choose.
- Resolution
- With joy I say, I will protect this village with my life!
- Because of the people don'twanting to choose, Athena came with an idea, a challenge.Athena's challenge was to each give a gift to the village and the people would decide which gift is the best. Who gave the best gift was the one who kept the village.
- MMMMM
- Poseidon laughed and gave his gift. Poseidon's gift was a stream that came from a mountain. Athena gave an olive tree for the gift competition.
- Yeah, it is!
- This is great!
- People were excited for Poseidon's gift but the water was salty and people needed fresh water. In the other side, Athena's olive tree was better because the olives were delicious and the tree was useful for many things. By Athena's gift being the best, she became the guardian of this village, which was called Athens in her honor.
