- Act 2 Scene i
- My name is Sebastian. My father left behind myself and a sister. If the heavens had been pleased, would we had so ended. But you sir, altered that, for some hour before you took me from the breach of the sea, was my sister drowned.
- Act 2 Scene i
- I am bound to the Count Orsino’s court. Farewell.
- But come what may, I do adore thee soThat danger shall seem sport, and I will go.
- Act 2 Scene ii
- She loves me sure! The cunning of her passion. Invites me in this churlish messenger. None of my lord’s ring? Why, he sent her none! I am the man! If it be so, as ’tis, poor lady, she were better love a dream. Disguise, I see thou art a wickedness.
- Antonio rescued Sebastian from the sea. Sebastian believes that his sister drowned and that he is on his own.
- Act 2 Scene iii
- For the love o’God, peace.
- Sebastian tells Antonio that he is leaving to go to Duke Orsino's. Antonio decides that he will join him even though he is in danger at the Duke's court.
- Act 2 Scene iii
- My masters are you mad? Or what are you? Have you no wit, manners, nor honesty, but to gabble like tinkers at this time of night?
- After receiving the ring Olivia sent, Cesario realizes that Olivia has feelings for him and not the Duke.
- Act 2 Scene iii
- I will drop in his way some obscure epistles of love. He shall find himself mostfeelingly personated. I can write very like my lady,your niece.
- Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, Maria and Feste are talking and laughing together during the night.
- [Singing.] O’ the twelfth day of December—
- Malvolio is woken up by the noise caused my Sir Toby, Maria, Feste and Sir Andrew. He gets mad at them for causing so much noise at such a late hour.
- Maria makes up a plan to prank Malvolio, since he ruined their fun. She will pretend to be Olivia and send Malvolio love letters.
