- That was horrible. I never want to see Adam again. I thought he understood me and my culture but he's just like everyone else at McCleans.
- I have to do debating with him. I love debating but with him on my team, it will be unbearable.
- But at least I have Simone and Eileen at school with me.

- You think that I'm going to walk around you just because of what happened at my party? So, I tried to kiss you and didn't want to because of your religion says that you can't have a normal relationship before you get married. Anyway, I've got to go meet my friends.
- How about you cut me some slack. You've been acting so up yourself lately. I wasn't rejecting you. This is who I am. This is what I believe in. Does that give you the right to ignore me?

- I don't think so. I think he is still embarrassed about it.
- I think it's going to be ok but it's a bit awkward but I think we can win. Adam doesn't hate me anymore which is good.
- It's still kind of weird between me and Adam. I don't really have a crush on him anymore but I want to be ok with each other.
- Do you think he told anyone about that night?
- It must really suck! How's debating going to go?
- We're going to beat this team, easy peasy.

- I've been injected with confidence. Not in spite of my hijab but because of it. Because I want to prove to everybody that it's just a piece of fabric and I'm here representing my school and my team.
- Therefore, the negative's arguments are completely preposterous and Australia should become a republic.
- The debate was very close and these teams were very well matched. McCleans Grammar School won this debate by one point.
