- Great Britian imposed tax on the British colonies to provide increased revenues to meet the cost of defending the enlarged British Empire. (Economy)

- People (colonist) were angry they were being stamped without their consent. and refused to use stamps by burning and rioting the stamps in protest. (Social)
- BOSTON TEAPARTY (1773)

- A series of acts, passed by the British Parliament, that taxed goods imported to the American colonies.
- INTOLERTABLE ACT (1774)
- Shots opened fire and killed 5 people by a small British army because they felt harassed by a mob. The soldiers were then charged with murder and given a civilian trial.
- A protest consisted of a group of 60 American colonists who threw 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor to protest againsts the tax raise of tea. It turned the ocean brown from the tea. (Interaction with enviroment)
- The intolertable acts were laws passed by Parliament and included four acts; The Boston port Act, Massachusates Government Act, Administration of Justice Act, and Quartering Act.
