- A population of goats live in a forest, the majority of the population is pale, with a couple of grey goats.
- Baaaaaaaah, I'm a goat
- Nice, me too
- As the population begins to grow, the lighter goats mate with each other, and the grey goats are left to reproduce with each other.
- Mmhmmmmm sure you are
- I think we are cooler than them because we are grey!
- A fire begins to erupt in the forest, however, the grey goats do not seem to be affected by the fires.
- It's so hot!!!!!!!!!Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh
- Hmm, we don't feel anything
- Wow, we're fireproof??!?!?!This is so cool!!!!
- As the fire consumes the entire forest, almost all of the light goats die out. The grey goats turn out to be fireproof, leaving them all alive and well.
- Oh my goodness, I am so lucky I am still alive!
- As the fire dies down, only one light goat is left, and all of the grey goats are still alive.
- Wow, I can't believe that just happened, now I am the only light goat left
- Wow, now we are still alive because we are fireproof!!!!
- A few years later, the majority of the population becomes grey, as their fireproof adaptation is useful in the fire prone forest.
- Yay! We can all survive fires now!!
- Cool I guess, but I wish I was fireproof too :(
