- Just one two more blocks then I am done (sigh). It was a long day and it is finally over
- I would! What happened 20 years ago ?
- Yeah that was a restaurant, not until five years ago

- (sigh) I heard about that.
- Anyway what happened was Twenty years ago tonight, I dined here at Big Joe Brady's with Jimmy Wells, my best chum and the finest chap in the world. He and I were raised here in NYC, just like 2 bro's He was 20, I was 18. The next morning I was to start for the west to make my fortune. You could'nt drag Jimmy out of NYC, He thought it was the only place on the World.
- Well, Yes for a time we corresponded. But after a year or two we lost each other.
- Sounds pretty interesting to me, Rather a long time between meets, though it seems to me. Haven't you heard your friend since you left ?
- Although I left before that we had made a promise to meet at this exact place after 20 years, no matter what our conditions might be or from what distance we might have to come. We figured that in 20 years we both would have ought to have our destiny and our fortunes made, what ever they were going to be
- What happened sir ?
- I knew we would not meet again , what was I thinking... Time to go home I guess. I have to hope I will meet him one day.
