- This case was taken to the court. Here they used Forensics by comparing Facial features and bodily features. They saw her ear and hair color/type etc. and saw that most of it was close but no full match because they were comparing that to a child with an older lady.
- According to many sources the court saw that she had no way to prove she was in fact Anastasia Romanov. After this fact she moved to the US in Charlottesville, Virginia, Where she married John Manahan. Here we see that she didn't care as much because no one would believe her. This tells us a little bit about that is wasn't her because she just stopped trying. It is really was her she would have fought harder.
- After further Forensic investigating, such as comparing where she was found and the things she would do. They came to a conclusion with evidence that Anna Anderson was in fact not Anastasia Romanov. She was really Franziska Schanzkowska. They saw with records and photographs that she was no where near any of the Romanov family blood. She was all the way over in Germany and ran away. She was a fraud and the case could be put to rest.
