The humor in Act 1 of the play, Pygmalion.

- It was raining and Freddy was running, trying to find a cab for his mother and sister. He bumped into Eliza (the flower girl) and she dropped her flowers.
- Freddy then left her to go find a cab and she remained.
- Um sorry!
- Freddy, why don't you watch where you're going!!
- Ugh, when will Freddy get here?!!!
- A mother and a daughter entered and they were looking for their son and the cab. Eliz a spoke to them and told them that she saw Freddy and he dropped her flowers. The mother gave Eliza money to find out how she knew her son's name. To her discovery Eliza calls everyone Freddy.
- How do you know my son's name??
- Here, she said giving Eliza money. That is for the flowers.
- I saw Freddy and he knocked my flowers down.
- Oh, I call everyone Freddy!! Ha
- I didn't do anything!!!!
- An elderly gentleman enters and Eliza tries to sell him some flowers. A bystander warns her that there is a police officer taking notes of her actions. Eliza is innocent so she becomes hysterical.
- She's innocent
- BE careful woman, there is a policeman taking notes!
- Silly girl, do I look like a policeman to you?
- The Note Taker, Higgins has an incredible ability to guess where people come from. It grows some suspicion and people are interested in it.
- How do you know where I live?
- Your from Hoxton. Cheltenham, Harrow, Cambridge, and India. And your from Epsom.
- Wow! He's like a fortune teller.
- Higgins gets the mother and daughter a cab. Higgins and the gentleman (Pickering) realize that they were looking for each other.
- Hey Do you know Colonel Pickering?
- I'm Henry Higgins
- Oh hi!
- Yes I am him who are you?
- TAXI
- Freddy got back, only to realize that his family left without him. Eliza left him to go home in a taxi and he was left by himself.
- UGH! And they are not here!
- I did all of this running for NO FREAKIN' REASON!!
