  • When a family member or friend is experiencing deppression, it is important to encourage excersise. This is because excersing releases feal good endorphins that drastically enhance your sense of well-being. Excersise also takes your mind of things and you focus on excersising instead of negative thoughts.
  • Get enough sunlight daily

  • staying socially connected can be a big depression fighter as you can talk to people about want you are going through wehich can help you not feel alone or unloved or unvalued.
  • Talk to a therapist/professional
  • I feel useless
  • It is always important to go for some quick mood boosters when you are down. If you try and push and encourage your family member or friend to do something fun, they may be suprised.
  • Keeping a healthy diet
  • It has been scientifically proven that sunlight can brighten your mood. It does this by boosting your serotonin levels. This can be done by going outsides daily for at least 15 minutes. For example, you can simply take your dog for a walk or doing some work in the garden. to triple the benefits, you can do some excersise outside and with a friend.
  • Getting support from a proffesional can be the most effective way to fight deppression. Negative deppression thoughts can be hard to handle on your own as it builds up in your head and can get much worse. It is especially important to encourgae this as one of the sypmtoms of deppression makes it very diificult to reach out for help.
  • Its ok, lets go to the therapist
  • When undergoing deppression, keeping a hesalthy diet is important and difficult to do on your own. That is why you need to encourage this as what you eat has a substantial effect on how you feel. Healthy diets should also be encouraged because many deppressed people seek for coping foods like ice cream and fast food.
