- Sophie is visiting her mother in Kinshasa for the summer and makes Clement stop the car so she can buy a baby bonobo from the trafficker.
- Part Three: Chapter 8
- The trafficker returns with 2 baby bonobos and wants money for them. The mom threatens the man but he turns the blade towards the baby bonobos.
- Part Three: Chapter 9
- Anastasia
- The President of Congo was shot and killed leaving the Country without protection and leadership. Sophie will be picked up and taken to the airport to leave the Country.
- Part Three: Chapter 12
- ow !
- The Kata - Kata men made their way to the sanctuary and killed everyone. Sophie and Otto are still in the enclosure with the adult bonobos.

- Sophie and Otto come in contact with the adult bonobos. Anastasia attacks Sophie but let's her live.
- Otto
- Anastasia continues to bother/harm Sophie but the other bonobos care for Sophie ( help her ). Mushie builds her a nest closer to him.
