  • The Crossover (The Basketball's Perspective)
  • EXPOSITION: Twin Superstars
  • RISING ACTION: Losing the Dreadlocks
  • The Crossover is a heartwarming story about growing up as an identical twin. Josh loves hoops and strives to be just like his dad one day. However, life has other plans and Josh must learn to navigate being an almost teenager and all that goes along with it.
  • CLIMAX: Basketball to the Face
  • Josh and JB are identical twins who are almost 13 years old. I am literally they're entire life. Josh is quiet, has dreadlocks down to his neck, and is known for his speed. JB is loud, has a buzz cut, and is known for his jumps. Middle school isn't easy, but it's even harder when you have a twin and you are finding out who you are without him.
  • FALLING ACTION: Dad Passes Away
  • JB gets a girlfriend and spends less and less time with his brother. They made a bet on who's better in basketball. If JB wins, Josh loses his dreadlocks and if Josh wins, JB has to walk around pant less during lunch tomorrow. It's not my fault though. JB is just too good at shooting. If I were you I'd just get a girlfriend for myself and shove it in his face.
  • RESOLUTION: Making Up
  • Josh is just a loser. On the way to a game, Josh's dad gets pulled over, causing Josh to be late and benched for the first half. When he finally gets in the game, he gets angry at JB and chucks the ball at his face, nearly breaking his nose. Josh gets suspended from the team and his relationship with JB is strained. He deserved it though.
  • Their dad suffers from a heart attack while warming up with Josh at the gym. He is in a coma for several days, and even when he wakes up, he must stay in the hospital. They spend the holidays with him in the hospital, and it seems he is on the mend. However, during the championship game, he has another heart attack and dies. Not to be rude but I predicted that he'd die.
  • After their father dies, they realized they needed to be there for each other and they made up. it took a bit long but they got it. JB gives Josh their father's championship ring, and together they shoot 50 free throws in a row, in honor of their father. I don't think it's JB's responsibility to just hand off his dad's ring. Just puttin' it out there.
