- George and Lydia Hadley have two young kids and they live in a futuristic home that does almost anything for them. Their home includes very many perks including a nursery that basically is a mother to the kids as expressed in the story.
- falling action
- When the mother and father go into the nursery to see if something was wrong, lions chase after them. Once the parents realize something is wrong they call a psychiatrist to see if they should shut down the nursery. The psychiatrist tells them to shut it down imminently and the parents do.
- resolution
- when the parents tell the children they are shuting down the nursery the children get furious. so the parents allow them to have a last few minutes in the nursery. While the parents are upstairs they hear the children yell for them to hurry and come to the nursery so the parents run down to the nursery.
- theme
- The parents run into the nursery. when suddenly the door slams behind them and they see the lions running towards them.
- The kids had a picnic right next to their parents dead body.
- The theme of the story is that technology is not always good and can tear apart families, or even kill.
