- Now, look at the clothes I have on. What do you notice?They aren't very fancy right?I am wearing my everyday clothes.
- Have you ever thought about what goes into the production of your simple everyday clothes?Where they come from?

- Look at this man's outfit, he is wearing a plain white shirt and jeans. Lets focus on his shirt. How much water, cotton, and energy goes into making his shirt?
- Lets look at this store for example.The man bought his t-shirt at this store, but it had to get to the store before he could buy it.
- There were boats, trucks, and even vans involved in the transportation of the man's t-shirt. All of those create pollution.
- Clothing items usually get shipped from cotton fields to factories, then they are made into fabrics.
- Did you know?Clothes production takes up about 10% of the worlds pollution
- Those fabrics get sown into t-shirts and shipped all over the world. Sadly the factories create pollution and that can be harmful to workers and the planet.
