  • Battle of France - May 10 - June 22, 1940
  • Attack on Pearl Harbor - December 7, 1941
  • Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union invades the Republic of Poland, marking the start of the war. Poland is quickly captured by German forces.
  • Battle of Stalingrad - November 23, 1942 - February 2, 1943
  • Germany invades France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands after France declares war on Germany for the invasion of Poland. Germany ends up capturing all four countries.
  • D-Day - June 6, 1944
  • Japan initiated a surprise aerial attack on the United States at the naval base, Pearl Harbor in Honolulu. This lead to the United States declaring war on Japan, entering World War 2.
  • The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - August 6 - August 9, 1945 
  • Germany invades the Soviet Union in an attempt to capture the city of Stalinburg. Unable to cope with the harsh climate and counterattacks from the Soviet Union, Germany surrenders.
  • Allied forces attack the Nazi-occupied part of France, using naval, air, and land assaults. Germany surrenders and the victory for the Allied forces turn the tide of the war.
  • Japan vowed to continue fighting even after the clear defeat of Germany. The United States dropped "Little Boy" on Hiroshima and "Fat Man" on Nagasaki. This leads to Japan's immediate surrender, ending the war.
