Tim Berners Lee

- On June the 8th 1955 Timothy Berners Lee is born. He will grow to become one of the most important figures in modern history
- As a child, he was a keen trains spotter and learned about electronics from his model trains. He attended primary school as normal and went on to attend London Emanuel School
- He Graduate from Queens College in Oxford in 1976 and received a Bachelor in Physics. While at College, Lee made a computer out of an old TV set.
- After Graduation, he worked at CERN but soon found out that there was no proper way for scientists to communicate and share ideas and documents properly. He came up with the idea of aninformation management systerm accessible to all scientists
- He wrote his proposal and the distributed it. His manager accepted it and then he went on to develop it. On 20 December 1990 he published the first ever website on the world wide web which just described project itself
- He then founded W3C at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then released the World Wide Web officially to the public on the 30th of April 1993
