- I have something very serious to say to you.
- He didn’t! I wasn’t! It isn’t true!
- Clover talks to Mollie about something he say in the morning.
- Clover says that she say Mollie standing over the hedge that divides Animal Farm from Foxwoods. Clover says he say on of Mr. Pilkingtons men stroking her nose.
- Where’s Mollie?
- Mollie denies everything, so Clover asks her to look her in the eye and say then she didn’t. Mollie could not look Clover in the eyes and she goes running off.
- Without Mollie knowing Clover goes into her cell and flips over some hay and discovers some ribbon and sugar hidden under the hay.

- Three weeks after the incident between Mollie and Clover, Mollie disappears until some pigeons see her will flying.
- The pigeons report that they say her on the other side of Willingdon, between the shafts of a smart dogcart thats painted red and black which is outside a public house. A publican was stroking her nose and feeding her sugar while she wore a scarlet red ribbon.
