- They lost the state championship and the main character (alex) didnt wanna go to the dance but he had already agreed so he went while upset about the game.

- The next day they had to be at the gym at 7 am to go to basketball tryouts. They had to do this because football ran late and they missed the start of the szn

- As he gets home from school he gets upset that his new coach dosent like football players.

- There at lunch during school and there talking about basketball and how tryouts went.

- in this scene they got moved up to varisty and the coach gave them there assignments. But he whispered it so the others wouldnt here.
- "you guys both put the white on"
- "Myers go get lorenzo ellington you get thompson."
- After they get setup with there white jerseys. They get put into the scrimmage and they start to dominate
