- I just heard the great speech of the great leader in India, Gandi. He won freedom for his people from the British rule. He told his people to use non violence. Maybe this idea of fighting peacfully against evil could work for the Negro Americans
- I am Rosa Parks, Secretary at the NAACP. After a long day I refuse to give up my seat. NO JUSTICE NO PEACE
- Segregation (1950's): Seperation of people racially by setting apart people community or establishment
- Dr. Rev. King I am E.D. Nixon and I need you to help me start this Bus Boycott to help bring justice to our people!!
- Lets get all the great leaders and have a meeting at my Church about having a Bus Boycott and Peaceful protest
- I need my speech to be strong to rise my people to action but I don't want to stir up hate that might lead to violence. I have to balance Action with Love
- This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning, 'let freedom ring' so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. But not only that let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi from every mountianside. And when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every city and every hamlet from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all God's Children black men and white men Jews and Gentiles Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hand and sing in the worlds of the old Negro Spiritual, "FREE AT LAST FREE AT LAST GREAT GOD ALMIGHTY WE ARE FREE AT LAST"
