- Oh, no I hope I don't have a bad credit score! How do I improve my score, if I do?
- You can pay your bills on time, keep balances low on credit cards, and only apply for loans an credit cards as needed.
- Oh, that's good to know, but why is it good to maintain a good credit score?
- It lets lenders know that you are financially stable, so they will allow you to borrow more money since you have demonstrated good financial habits.
- I haven't paid my credit card bill, so that probably means I have bad credit.
- Time is the only way to remove negative information from your credit report, so be sure to start paying your bills on time.
- Thanks for telling me all this helpful information before I go apply for another credit card.
- No problem, I think I better pay for the bill now!
