- Once upon a time, the Greek goddesses Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena were arguing about who the most beautiful and fairest was.
- I am the most beautiful and fairest goddess of all!
- That's not true! I am.
- Both of you are wrong. I am the most beautiful of all!
- They needed some help, so they chose Paris, the youngest son of King Priam of Troy.All three goddesses offered Paris the best gift they could offer.
- I will give you the most beautiful woman in the world!
- I will give you wisdom.
- I offer you power.
- I know! If I choose Aphrodite. I am going to have the most beautiful woman for me!
- Now, what do I do? How can I decide?
- You, Aphrodite are the fairest goddess of all.
- So Paris, made his decision. The fairest goddess on Mount Olympus was Aphrodite.

- King Menelaus was furious. He asked all the best Greek warriors to help him get Helen back. In response, more than a thousand Greek ships and soldiers set sail for Troy. And that was how the Trojan War began.
