  • This scene goes with the theme because Reshmina brings home Taz. That’s not good for her village or family. Then Pasoon threatens to tell the Taliban about Taz being in their house, and that might get their family killed.

  • This scene goes with the theme of the book because Reshmina chases Pasoon to the mountains where he is attempting to call the Taliban so he can tell them that there is an American in their house. He starts shooting at the Americans so he can get their attention. he tells the Taliban and the results of them having Taz was that the Taliban blew up their house
  • “Brandon jumped onto the elevator, just missing the closing doors” (Gratz 19)
  • Good! now I have time to get the wolverine glove and come back
  • This scene goes with the theme of the book because Reshmina and her village are in the cave, and the Americans and the Taliban are fighting on top of the mountain. Then a bomb hits them right on top of the cave. The ceiling falls inside the cave. As a result of the ceiling falling many people were hurt and some got crushed, but Reshmina and others made it out alive.
  • “We can’t take you out through the lobby, it’s too full of injured people,” the policewomen said” (Gratz 215)
  • The structure is made of steel. No way it's going to fall.
  • This scene goes with the theme of the book because Brandon gets in trouble or punching a bully in the face for taking a kid’s wolverine gloves. His dad tells him they are a team and he let down the team by getting in trouble. As a result of punching a kid, Brandon got suspend
  • This scene goes with the theme of the book because Brandon wants to go get a wolverine glove or his friend. When they got to the Window of the Worlds there was a mini fire in the kitchen. Brandon thought it would be a good distraction for his dad. So he snuck into the elevator, and as an outcome, the plane crashed into the building.
  • This scene goes with the theme of the book because Brandon because while Brandon and others were trying to escape the building a man asked what if the building fell on them. The policewoman said that would happen because the building was made of steel. After they started walking a little more into the basement the building collapses on top of them and a bunch of people was hurt and injured.
  • What if the building falls on top of us!!!
