- I learned all about blood- first red blood cells- they look like flattened basketballs, A RBC is mostly made of a protein called hemoglobin, and RBCs live for about 120 days.#160;
- Oh my gosh, I learned so many new things in Science today. Can I#160; tell you about it?#160;#160;

- Now onto white blood cells- they are larger than RBCs, there are not as many white blood cells , they fight off unwanted germs and diseases.#160;#160;

- Oh! I know a lot about plasma, I can teach you! Okay first, plasma is a yellowish liquid that is 90% water, plasma carries nutrients, hormones, and proteins throughout#160;the body , and plasma also carries away cell waste
- Now platelets- they are tiny round cells, platelets are#160; tiny cell fragments that play an important part in forming blood clots when a blood vessel gets cut, and they help form a temporary plug in the wound that helps stop the bleeding.#160; I do not know much about plasma though...
