- To get in you have to solve 3+5(10x2.5)
- How do you do that?
- I know how! You always want to follow GEMS, G is grouping symbols. E is exponents, M is multiplication/division, and S is subtraction/addition.
- Sooo than you would do 10x2.5 because its in a grouping symbol, right?
- Yeah, and that would be 25
- So now we have 3+5(25) left to do
- So then following GEMS we have to do multiplication and becasue the 5 is stuck onto the 25
- 5(25) is 75!
- Now we just have to do 75 plus 5 which is 80!
- 80 is our answer, lets us in!
