- I need you to make me a potion that makes me live forever.
- In his early reign, Qin was still very young. So his regent Lu Buwei helped him make important decisions. Lu Buwei was worried that he would find out that he was Qin's father.
- Lu Buwei started getting frustrated because Qin was now old enough to make his own decisions. So Lu devised a plan to get rid of Qi. Lu hired Lao Ai to devise an army and tried to overthrow while Qin was traveling. Qin executed Lao by having Lao's limbs tied to horses who ran in different directions.
- When Qin started getting in his middle years he grew afraid of dying. So Qin was soon obsessed with living forever. He went to doctors and alchemists determined to have them make some type of medicine that would make him live forever. In the end the medicines increased his chance of dying. Qin died in 210 BC due to poison.
