  • I propose we have an hour long free period, for studying, working with peers and teachers.
  • Great idea, let's submit it for consideration
  • Introduction of Legislation
  • Committee Action
  • Would that be beneficial?
  • Will they even use that time properly?
  • Students are wanting a free period out of their school day, for studying and collaborating,
  • It would also help with the daunting environment that school creates. To make sure we don't take advantage we could even shorten the time to 45 minutes.
  • While students may slack off or get into trouble, this free period could help students that don't have the opportunity to work at home and put their full focus into their schoolwork.
  • With the amends made we pass this bill and send it along to the Senate for further discussion.

  • How will we know that students won't take advantage of this?
  • Conference Committees
  • After this bill has been discussed in the House, its been decided that we will revise the bill to 45 minutes and then pass it.
  • Presidential Action
  • I agree and like the advantages to this bill and now sign it.
  • Now that the law has passed, students are now using this law in fill effect
