- Jordan Banks lives in Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City. He lives with his dad and his mom in an apartment building. His family took well care of him.

- Drew Ellis lives in Co-op City, Bronx, New York City. His grandma goes to work, so he has to take care of himself. He takes the bus twice to go to school.

- Liam lives in Riverdale, Bronx, New York City. His family is very rich, so maids and drivers take care of him. Liam's parents don't interact much even though they are having breakfast together.

- The conflict of the story is that because their characters are from different races, social status, etc. Jordan and Drew are being discriminated against. (Page 53)
- The theme of this story is that being prejudiced against other people can lead to misunderstandings.
