It was a warm evening on Maple Street, Charlie was hanging out with Steve as he polished his car. Kids were getting ice cream from a stand and others were on their porches enjoying the afternoon.
Climax
All of a sudden something blast through the sky and the street goes dim. All through the neighborhood house lights stop working and citizens start to flood the road. Charlie and Steve walk to the crowd questioning if it was a metro that made the neighborhood go dark.
Falling Action
As the crowd grew so did the fear. People started to panic when a little boy named Tommy said that it was aliens and that they were one of us. People start to look around suspiciously when all of a sudden a car turns on, Les Goodmans
Resolution
Lights started to flick in houses and people started to accuse anyone they said acted suspicious, all of a sudden a figure appeared in the shadows. Charlie grabs a shotgun and shoots the figure only to find out that it was someone he knows, Pete Van Horn.
They all accuse one another, but the mood is still tense as the crowd stands in front of Charlies house scared and confused as they yell and scream over the dead body.
In the distance are 2 figures watching the destruction of Maple Street from a far. Figure 1 tells figure 2 that all over the world Maple Streets always destroy themselves. And that humanity's greatest enemy is themselves.
