- Exposition
- Sully and Scoot are sibilings. They are aboard a boat called Old Sea Dog. Sully was on top of the boat while Scoot was in the tiny galley.
- Rising Action
- A rogue wave hit the boat, Sully is ok but Scoot is trapped and has blacked out in the galley of the boat with all the doors close and no way out
- Scoot discovered a knife and used it to strike the boat. Sully heard it and attempted to speak with her, but she was unable to understand him. He kept telling her to try the skylight, but she couldn't hear him. Scoot, on the other hand, subconsciously heard sully telling her to try the skylight, so she did. She tried to dive in an effort to smash it, but she was unsuccessful.
- Rising Action
- THE SKYLIGHT
- On Scoots sixth dive she found a way to brace her feet against the ceiling ribs. She pushed with all her streangth, and this time she could get out.
- Climax
- Falling action
- Scoot and Sully are holding eachother for warmth all night until..
- Resolution
- The Red Rooster, a long range sports fishing boat, approached and went to pick up Sully and Scoot to take them to safety.
