- Why are there ash everywhere?
- Jack works as manager at Pizza Hut Harrison Plaza in December 1990. He grew up in Angeles City, Pampanga but he worked in Manila for roughly 6 months.
- Do you want a ride to the other side?
- He saw the news about the increased activity of Mt. Pinatubo. He was shocked because he isn't aware that there is a volcano in the mountain ranges of Zambales.
- This is embarrassing.
- He goes to a cinema and when he came out, he saw that almost everything is covered in ash.
- I can ask the barkers to transport me to the other side. Besides, you're here to keep company right
- Where are you going? And how will you cross the river if the bridge has collapsed?
- When he realized of the current situation, he immediately went to Abacan bridge to check the condition of his family. But when he got there, he saw that the bridge was broken. One of the barkers offered him a ride to the other side.
- When he realized how bad the situation is, he suddenly felt embarrassed that he's the only guy who asked a broker to transport him on the other side.
- When Jack arrived at their house, he was so happy that his family is okay. He saw his mother getting ready to leave the house to bring some clothes to his sister. He realized how braze his mother was for she was ready to face any difficulties for her children.
