- Laius: Hurry and say goodbye because we dont want what the messenger said to become true.Jocasta: I know but I dont want to give him away.Lauis:We have to
- Lauis:Kill himMessenger: Okay (The Messenger felt bad so they just gave the baby away to a random family.)(Oedipus grew up with parents that werent his biological parents.And then later on someone told him about the prophecy and he ran away to go to Thebes.)
- Laius:Lets go for a battleOedipus:Lets see who wins in this battle.(Oedipus Battles Laius and kills him in the scuffle at the crossroad. Oedipus beats the Sphinx riddle and wins the throne of Thebes. He marries Jocasta (His mother) )
- Oedipus and Jocasta have children. They both had four children in total. Eteocles,Polynieces,Antigone,Ismene.Jocasta finds out Oedipus is her son, she kills herself.Oedipus hears another prophecy and he pokes his eyes with needles and leaves Eteocles and Polynices taking turns of 1 year for the throne.Eteocles:I wont give you the thronePolynices:Give it to me (They battle for the throne and they both kill each other.)
- Kreon becomes the ruler and he said no one is to bury polynieces body and if they do they will be killed.Antigone:"Unholy not to"Antigone is saying that is it unfair to leave polynieces corpse laying like that and that she will bury him even if she has to die.The guards find out Antgione buried the body Haimon: Dont Kill her, why do you hate her so much?
- Antigone was depressed and didnt want to be buried alive. And since she found no point in living, and her soul was already dead...She killed herself and after Haimon kills himself after finding out of her death. Creon is told to keep ruling but to change, to become a better person so that he doesnt go though the tragedy he went through again.
