- The history ofCorn FlakesThe inventors were the Kellogg's brothers, Will Keith, someone without much academic success, and John Harvey, a renowned doctor and original creator of the cereal.
- Will worked for his brother, in the sanatorium, unable to get something better, that's when he realized the recipe and its great value.
- I don't mind making money, I made this for my patients.
- Brother, we need to sell your creation, don´t you see what we have in our hands?
- One day by chance, will forgot to bake a portion of corn that had already hardened, he tried to give it shape and consistency trying to flatten it, and what came out was a crunchy cornflake.

- But the cereal was already patented by John, Will was forced to buy the rights to the product, the debate was tough, but in the end John stopped refusing and ended up selling it to him.
- With the rights, he created his own company, dethroning Post, the enemy cereal company, and making a multi-million dollar fortune for his family.

- The importance of this product was such that after its creation, the sale of packaged products and cereals in general was never the same again, Kelloggs currently has almost a monopoly within its own market, being one of the breakfast foods of excellence globally.
