- Do you know every day, almost 40million litres of waste water enters rivers and only tiny fraction is treated adequately
- Oh! that is large amount of water wasted everyday,I am worried about water pollution nowadays...
- But people are mainly responsible. They pollute water by throwing waste into it.
- This polluted water causes much harm to us.
- Farmers also use chemical fertilizers and insecticides in their fields. Rain and floods wash away some of the chemicals.
- Yes you are right, and these chemical fertilizers and insecticides get mixed with the water of canals, ponds, and rivers, and thus pollute water
- Water pollution can be prevented in many ways. But the main way is to make people aware of the importance of pure water.
- So,it is high time to stop water pollution.But how can we prevent water from being polluted?
- We should start wasting water from now onwards and stop people from using it uneccesorily.
